Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient backend components, services, and orchestration.
- Deliver user experiences for complex API-based integrations.
- Contribute to system design and provide technical leadership on increasingly complex projects.
- Review functional and technical requirements, identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Take end-to-end ownership of delivering high-quality software individually and collaboratively.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of software development experience with any programming language.
- Experience connecting to API services with limited functionality or scalability.
- Experience developing scalable microservices architectures.
- Experience optimizing performance for backend components running in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery strategies, monitoring and alerting strategies, and software development best practices.
- Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, Object Store, Kubernetes, Redis, and Postgres is preferred.
- Familiarity with React, NestJS, Fastify, and Mikro-orm is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and end-to-end testing tools.
