Responsibilities
- Improve Check Point’s WAF cloud infrastructure across backend, frontend, DevOps, and automation domains.
- Own features end to end from design through production, including demonstrations, bug fixes, and team enablement.
- Support deployment, maintenance, and scaling of multi-tenant cloud environments.
- Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using data, metrics, and KPIs.
- Support production systems and troubleshoot issues as part of an on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, Customer Success, Sales, NOC, management, and internal teams to provide technical support.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a software developer or DevOps engineer.
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools, preferably Claude Code.
- Strong experience developing large-scale cloud microservices, preferably with Golang or Python.
- Experience with databases, preferably NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes using EKS in containerized environments.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, especially cloud networking.
- Preferred experience includes Redis, Kafka, Kubernetes internals, React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Prometheus, Grafana, GitLab CI/CD, GraphQL, and ArgoCD.
