Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software systems and enhance backend features.
- Collaborate with firmware, Backend, SRE, Dashboard, Support, and product teams on system integration, reliability, user interfaces, and end-user support.
- Identify and address performance issues.
- Design efficient databases and optimize query performance in relational databases.
- Own development tasks from conception through implementation and contribute to coding standards and team knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience writing production code and tests for medium- to large-scale systems.
- At least 7 years of full-stack experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, React.js, and JavaScript or comparable technologies.
- Experience designing efficient databases and optimizing queries in relational databases such as Postgres or SQL.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and understand user needs.
- Preferred experience building cloud-based infrastructure and web applications, interest or experience in security or networking, and experience with Kubernetes.
