Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI-enabled applications supporting FISMA audit readiness, GAO audit responses, NFR and POA&M management, Corrective Action Plans, audit evidence analysis, and control testing.
- Build custom GPT and RAG-based solutions, secure AI copilots, agentic workflows, vector databases, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval architectures.
- Develop AI capabilities for compliance mapping, NIST CSF and FISMA assessments, policy review, audit narrative generation, executive reporting, and cybersecurity directive review.
- Create data pipelines integrating audit data, findings repositories, POA&M systems, and compliance datasets.
- Develop dashboards and predictive analytics for audit readiness, findings trends, control deficiencies, program risks, and emerging compliance risks.
- Implement model evaluation, prompt security, audit logging, explainability, and AI governance controls aligned with federal requirements.
- Develop proof-of-concepts and production-ready capabilities that reduce manual audit work and improve cybersecurity oversight.
Requirements
- Active Secret security clearance.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years developing AI/ML-enabled applications.
- Experience with Python, FastAPI or Flask, React or modern front-end frameworks, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex or equivalent, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and Git-based DevSecOps pipelines.
- Experience developing RAG architectures, agentic workflows, vector databases, prompt engineering frameworks, and document intelligence solutions.
- Experience working with unstructured policies, audit reports, findings, and compliance documentation.
- Understanding of FISMA, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, continuous monitoring, POA&M processes, the cyber audit lifecycle, risk assessments, and GRC.
- Ability to engage senior government stakeholders and translate complex cybersecurity requirements into technical solutions.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with federal civilian agencies and cybersecurity environments, audit finding management, NFRs, Corrective Action Plans, audit evidence analysis, and AI solutions for compliance, governance, or risk management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric, Purview, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI services is preferred.
