Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret requirements, validate assumptions, incorporate feedback, and escalate design issues.
- Participate in system design, architecture, project estimation, and design documentation.
- Develop, implement, debug, and maintain code for products, services, and software components.
- Participate in code reviews, apply coding standards, and address routine pull requests.
- Create test plans and configure testing procedures to identify and resolve defects.
- Respond to support requests during on-call rotations, troubleshoot issues, and deploy fixes under guidance.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance through ongoing technical development.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
- Experience with system design and architecture, debugging, code review, test planning and execution, support requests, and software developer tools.
- Preferred experience includes 3 or more years with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years with an advanced degree.
- Expertise in Core Java, JEE technologies, and container-based technologies is preferred.
- Experience with JDBC, JMS, Spring, Hibernate, JMX, SQL, and commercial-grade relational databases is preferred.
- Preferred qualifications include object-oriented design, design patterns, solution architecture, Git, test automation tools, payment industry experience, and strong communication skills.
