Responsibilities
- Take a technical lead role in evolving and supporting a high-performance risk modeling platform.
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance analytic solutions.
- Optimize the efficient use of computing, memory, and networking resources.
- Collaborate with Software Architects and Product Owners on technical direction, delivery planning, and platform standards.
- Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and technical leadership.
- Lead improvements to engineering processes, tooling, and best practices.
- Write clean, testable, performant code and create automated tests.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. background in computer science.
- 4–8 years of demonstrable experience in at least three relevant areas, including Python or C++, AWS, distributed systems, API design, and data engineering.
- Strong software development experience with Python or C++.
- Preferred qualifications include DevOps experience, security and compliance knowledge, and experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers at scale.
