Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end client engagements spanning discovery, solution design, delivery, and post-go-live support.
- Build executive-level client relationships and provide trusted technical advisory services.
- Facilitate requirements workshops, manage scope and expectations, and negotiate technical trade-offs.
- Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions using .NET, ASP.NET Core, and C#.
- Own domain modeling, API design, performance tuning, security, observability, and architecture patterns.
- Drive cloud-native deployments, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices across Azure and AWS.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and write production code when needed to unblock teams.
- Mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and improve team capability and engineering quality.
- Establish testing strategies, quality gates, reliability practices, risk mitigation plans, and compliance controls.
- Contribute to estimates, proposals, solution narratives, and technical pre-sales strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including 6+ years focused on .NET.
- Expert-level C# skills and deep knowledge of ASP.NET Core, EF Core, Web APIs, background services, and gRPC.
- Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless patterns.
- Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, caching, and message brokers such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Knowledge of OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, secrets management, OpenTelemetry, structured logging, and metrics.
- Proven experience leading client engagements and delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, negotiation, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers, leading design reviews, and making defensible technology choices.
- Willingness to work in a consulting environment with travel as needed, multiple clients, and shifting priorities.
