Responsibilities
- Design and develop pragmatic, complete, and maintainable software solutions.
- Support new and existing product and technology systems.
- Contribute to software analysis, architecture, design, specification, planning, and delivery estimation.
- Build and support enterprise software, RESTful APIs, databases, event-driven services, and cloud deployments.
- Improve software quality through documentation, peer reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and automation.
- Provide technical support to customers and clients when required.
- Participate in agile planning, project meetings, process improvements, and distributed global development.
- Identify technical dependencies, risks, training needs, and delivery challenges.
Requirements
- Minimum eight years of relevant work experience.
- Extensive experience in large-scale enterprise software development with global reach.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with deep knowledge of several listed technologies including Node.js, Rust, TypeScript, GraphQL, Kotlin, Go, and Python.
- Experience with relational and document databases including MongoDB, DynamoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing and building RESTful API services and working with event-driven frameworks such as Kafka.
- Deep understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Experience with test-driven development, unit testing, integration testing, and continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks including Serenity, Cucumber, Jest, Supertest, Playwright, and Detox.
- Working knowledge of AWS and Terraform for cloud deployment.
- Native mobile app development experience and knowledge of Java and Spring Boot are desirable.
- Experience with PCI-compliant software products is desirable.
- Experience working across multiple delivery organizations in a distributed global environment.
- Strong communication, initiative, independence, adaptability, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
