Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and troubleshoot software test automation solutions.
- Create secure, high-quality automation code and maintain algorithms that integrate with appropriate systems.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating generated outputs.
- Develop test automation architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Gather and analyze large, diverse test datasets to support automation and global quality coverage.
- Identify code-quality and data patterns that can improve coding practices and system architecture.
- Collaborate with technology teams to implement behavior-driven development.
- Conduct test automation feasibility studies and calculate return on investment.
- Apply Java, Selenium, BDD Cucumber, API testing, database knowledge, and other automation tools.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 2+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle.
- Exposure to CI/CD, application resiliency, version control with Bitbucket or Git, and security practices.
- Expertise in test automation, functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing.
- Proficiency in SQL and test data management.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or Playwright.
- Knowledge of Java and expertise in BDD and TDD.
- Oracle HCM testing or configuration experience.
- Preferred experience designing scalable automation frameworks with Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, or similar technologies.
- Preferred proficiency in Java, Python, or another object-oriented programming language focused on test automation and software quality engineering.
- Preferred experience implementing automated testing in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
- Preferred knowledge of API, web services, and microservices testing with REST Assured, Postman, Karate, or equivalent tools.
- Preferred performance, reliability, and resiliency testing experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or comparable technologies.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-based application testing, and container technologies.
