Platform Software Test Engineer

Responsibilities
- Define client- and business-specific test strategies.
- Create and write test plans describing test structure and communication.
- Architect and implement automated testing suites across platforms.
- Apply multiple testing methodologies and collaborate on implementation.
- Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mentor and coach project teams toward shared goals.
- Identify quality obstacles and improve user experience and testing practices.
- Provide constructive feedback and simplify complex problems for teams and clients.
- Apply testing knowledge and findings at organizational scale.
Requirements
- At least 2–3 years of professional test engineering experience.
- Experience with testing methodologies, implementation, and communicating testing approaches and decisions.
- Professional programming experience.
- Experience architecting robust automated testing suites across different platforms.
- Experience with Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, Selenium, or native mobile test frameworks for iOS, Android, or React Native.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred experience testing accessibility with screen readers and inclusive UI implementations.
- Preferred experience writing and executing SEO or analytics tests.
- Preferred familiarity with CI/CD and deployment pipeline setup using Jenkins, CircleCI, or Fastlane.
- Preferred experience with load, performance, penetration, or security testing.
- Preferred familiarity with a CMS such as AEM, Contentful, EpiServer, Sitecore, or Sitefinity.
- Engagement in technical thought leadership, such as blog articles, Git Gists, or Stack Overflow answers, is preferred.
