Base Salary
$75k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create test plans, test cases/scripts, bug reports, and quality-risk assessments.
- Automate product features to improve regression coverage and triage automation results.
- Conduct functional QA testing, verify outcomes, and test boundary, negative, compatibility, concurrency, sanity, and in-depth scenarios.
- Participate in architecture and code-level design and implementation reviews and drive technical quality discussions.
- Serve as a technical quality expert, conduct proofs of concept, and recommend quality improvements.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, quality engineers, and quality management to improve processes.
- Provide technical leadership to junior teammates and support the QA manager.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in software development and/or software test automation.
- Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and approaches, including black-box and automated testing.
- Experience writing and automating test cases for short-release-cycle software products.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be located in the Eastern Time Zone.
