Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development lifecycle and apply automation-based quality assurance practices.
- Design, develop, maintain, and review automated unit, component, functional, regression, performance, load, security, and service virtualization tests.
- Build testing frameworks, utilities, scripts, environments, and reporting integrated with continuous integration and delivery tools.
- Conduct white-box testing, analyze application performance and load responses, generate test data, and identify code quality issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, business teams, and clients to create test plans, conditions, cases, and execution priorities.
- Report and track defects, participate in root cause analysis, and coordinate testing activities for assigned client projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another technical field, or additional equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and developing.
- Experience developing automated testing strategies across varied environments and frameworks is preferred.
- Experience translating functional stories and use cases into test plans using Behavior Driven Development methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, Cypress, Behave, or Locust is required.
- A Python or Java background is required.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS Cloud is strongly preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounting, or invoice processing is a plus.
- Ability to follow coding best practices, participate in code reviews, and communicate effectively.
