Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development lifecycle and apply automation to improve code quality and testability.
- Design, develop, maintain, and review automated testing frameworks, suites, scripts, tools, and utilities.
- Create and execute unit, component, white-box, regression, functional, performance, load, security, and service virtualization tests.
- Integrate automated test suites and testing infrastructure with continuous integration and deployment tools.
- Build and customize test environments, generate test data, and develop reporting and metrics for continuous testing.
- Work with stakeholders, developers, business teams, analysts, and clients to create test plans, conditions, and cases.
- Report and track defects and resolutions, participate in root cause analysis, and coordinate assigned client test activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, information systems, or another technical field; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in software testing, coding, designing, and development.
- Experience developing automated testing strategies across multiple environments and frameworks is preferred.
- Experience translating functional stories and use cases into test plans using Behavior Driven Development methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with automated testing tools including Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, Cypress, Behave, or Locust is required.
- Python or Java programming experience is required.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and AWS Cloud is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of coding best practices, code reviews, Agile Scrum, and strong verbal and written communication is preferred.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounting, or invoice processing is a plus.
