Responsibilities
- Design and architect production-grade Agentic AI and multi-agent solutions on AWS.
- Build autonomous systems supporting planning, reasoning, tool usage, workflow execution, enterprise knowledge, and long-term memory.
- Design knowledge architectures using knowledge graphs, vector databases, semantic retrieval, RAG, hybrid search, and enterprise data ecosystems.
- Implement short-term, episodic, semantic, and long-term agent memory and context persistence architectures.
- Establish AWS-native and open-source agent orchestration, deployment, monitoring, guardrails, governance, and operational patterns.
- Implement evaluation frameworks for agents, prompts, workflows, and model performance.
- Partner with Security and Risk teams on prompt-injection detection, data-leakage prevention, AI governance, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
- Lead architecture reviews, technical design sessions, complex initiatives, and cross-team technical coordination.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, design-review feedback, and knowledge sharing to other engineers.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and define scalable reference architectures and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of professional software development experience; the preferred qualifications also state 10+ years of software engineering, cloud architecture, or distributed systems experience.
- At least 5 years designing solutions on AWS.
- At least 3 years implementing Generative AI and LLM-based systems.
- Proven experience deploying Agentic AI solutions into production for real users and business processes.
- Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, software architecture, design principles, software development lifecycle, testing, deployment, security, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, EKS, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, OpenSearch, Aurora, and Neptune.
- Experience with LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, OpenAI SDK Agents, MCP, tool-calling architectures, and agent orchestration.
- Hands-on experience implementing vector databases, embedding pipelines, RAG systems, knowledge graphs, and hybrid retrieval architectures.
- Experience creating CI/CD pipelines for AI workloads and implementing cloud security, identity, governance, and operational excellence.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Professional Architect certification, enterprise AI platform experience, agent memory systems, AI evaluation frameworks, model observability, prompt and model registries, approval workflows, and financial-services or regulated-industry experience.
