Base Salary
$121k - $169k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver network infrastructure across DNS, edge, ingress, and service mesh.
- Build tooling and abstractions for other engineering teams to manage their networking needs.
- Ensure the network is observable, hardened, and resilient by default.
- Participate in on-call rotation and drive incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align on priorities and progress.
- Foster a collaborative team culture through design reviews and mentoring.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud networking and distributed systems.
- Deep knowledge of internet architecture and modern web services.
- Proficiency in Go (or similar languages) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience building reliable, observable platforms and defining SLIs/SLOs.
- On-call experience, including incident resolution and postmortem analysis.
- Consistently apply a security-first approach in design practices.
