Base Salary
$193k - $289k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deploy state-of-the-art AI/ML applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI/ML solutions in development and production environments.
- Design and develop requirements for software development and software testing environments.
- Develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concept demonstrations.
- Work with AI/ML and software engineers on advanced LLM, NLP, NLU, NLG, decision-making, sensor fusion, data fusion, computer vision, and image-processing capabilities.
- Apply software engineering best practices including source control and software architecture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline with 14 years of experience, or a master’s degree with 12 years, or a PhD with 10 years.
- Experience with AI models and algorithms such as LLMs, DNNs, genetic algorithms, embedding models, and deep learning.
- Experience using and deploying AI LLM tools, including coding assistants or AI infrastructure tools.
- Experience working in large codebases containing multiple languages, such as monorepos.
- Experience developing requirements and working with software in integration, requirements verification, and testing environments.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Java is preferred.
- Experience with LLM prompt engineering, development frameworks, fine-tuning, or quantization is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI model limitations, Linux-based operating systems, and DevOps, DevSecOps, or MLOps concepts is preferred.
- A history of research excellence, such as peer-reviewed publications or significant contributions to open-source ML libraries, is preferred.
- Must have an active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation within the past six years or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
