Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deliver, and maintain highly available S3 distribution-plane services at global scale.
- Develop tools that streamline operations, reduce operational load, and improve operational posture.
- Automate and improve test infrastructure and make build and release systems more robust and flexible.
- Investigate and recommend practices for improving code quality, fleet health, security, and reliability.
- Design and implement DNS, networking, TLS certificate, VPC endpoint, and private connectivity solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, operations meetings, leadership discussions, and regular on-call rotations.
- Mentor junior system development engineers and share knowledge through documentation and wider-team collaboration.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
