Responsibilities
- Develop resilient, maintainable, and well-tested software for products and quality engineering capabilities.
- Design, build, and maintain automated test tools, frameworks, and services.
- Implement automated validation for functionality, performance, reliability, and resilience.
- Investigate defects, analyze system behavior, and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Build and enhance CI/CD capabilities and automation for reliable software delivery.
- Contribute to test environments, infrastructure, and platforms used by engineering teams.
- Collaborate with software engineers, solution architects, delivery teams, customers, and operational stakeholders.
- Participate in peer reviews, engineering standards, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience developing software, automation, tooling, or engineering solutions.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and modern development practices.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.
- Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and engineering excellence.
- Ability to obtain and maintain UK Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
- Desirable experience includes test automation, quality engineering, CI/CD, performance, reliability or resilience engineering, platform engineering, developer tooling, cloud-native or distributed systems, infrastructure automation, observability, monitoring, diagnostics, and secure or highly assured technology environments.
