Responsibilities
- Support early lifecycle activities including solution shaping, estimation, and commercial proposals.
- Produce end-to-end SAP solution architectures covering functional design, technical architecture, integration, data, and security.
- Lead SAP solution design across S/4HANA, ECC, and associated SAP platforms and services.
- Advise clients on SAP best practices, deployment options, and target architectures.
- Own architecture decisions, governance adherence, technical risks, issues, and resolution.
- Lead and set direction for multidisciplinary delivery teams and manage technical deliverables.
- Manage dependencies across SAP modules, non-SAP systems, and third-party products.
- Work with delivery managers, functional leads, clients, SAP, and other partners to deliver solutions into live operation.
- Contribute to SAP and architecture communities and develop practice capability.
Requirements
- Strong SAP architecture experience and credibility with senior stakeholders in complex or regulated environments.
- Ability to obtain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance and meet the requirement to have resided continuously in the UK for the last five years.
- Demonstrable experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale SAP solutions.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PCE or On-Premise architectures, including brownfield, greenfield, or hybrid transformations.
- Strong understanding of SAP functional domains such as Finance, Contract Accounting, PSCD, and Utilities.
- Experience in SAP technical architecture, landscape design, security, identity management, data management, networks, environments, transport strategy, and non-functional requirements.
- Experience integrating SAP with wider enterprise ecosystems using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, middleware, or event-driven approaches.
- Understanding of SAP data migration, data quality, and cutover planning.
- Experience with modern delivery approaches, structured testing, release management, and on-premise, cloud, or hybrid SAP environments.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary delivery teams and managing technical deliverables, risks, issues, and priorities.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and decision-making skills.
- Desirable experience with SAP RISE, SAP BTP, cloud-hosted SAP environments, SAP security and authorisation, large-scale bids and proposals, formal design authorities, automation, analytics, or AI-enabled services.
