Responsibilities
- Design and implement autonomous network use-case solutions for mobile and fixed telecommunications environments.
- Develop network automation solutions using RESTful APIs, YANG models, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, Python, and Go or similar languages.
- Implement self-optimizing and self-healing network capabilities.
- Develop agentic AI and data optimization solutions, including token-efficient reasoning, resource-constrained deployment, RAG, semantic search, and LLM fine-tuning.
- Design real-time ETL pipelines, telemetry feature engineering, data-quality processes, caching strategies, and context optimization systems.
- Reduce computational overhead, inference cost, and latency while maintaining AI decision accuracy.
- Manage network topology and context using vector and graph databases.
- Apply relevant TM Forum standards and autonomous-network practices.
- Travel occasionally to client locations along the M4 corridor, including Newbury, Reading, and Slough.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in telecom or mobile network architecture and deploying autonomous network use cases.
- Proven expertise with RESTful APIs, YANG models, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, and network automation using Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Demonstrated experience implementing self-optimizing or self-healing networks and a portfolio of successful autonomous network use cases.
- Experience with data correlation, entity relationship mapping, data cleansing, token optimization, resource-constrained AI deployment, semantic search, RAG, prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, graph databases, telemetry feature engineering, ETL pipelines, caching, and context-window optimization.
- Experience reducing computational overhead while maintaining AI decision accuracy, with examples of optimized agentic implementations.
- TM Forum Open API Certification, TM Forum Autonomous Network Practitioner certification, or equivalent advanced TM Forum training is preferred.
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, Google Vertex AI, Gemini APIs, BigQuery, distributed systems, Kubernetes, and network telemetry optimization is desirable.
- Ability to obtain the required BPSS, Security Clearance, or Developed Vetting clearance.
