Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build enterprise-grade systems, including on-premises deployments and agent infrastructure.
- Own the design and delivery of durable platform capabilities and infrastructure for enterprise customers.
- Convert recurring customer deployment gaps, incident themes, and evaluation results into scalable platform primitives.
- Improve reliability, security, and operational maturity across Cartesia’s enterprise platform.
- Deliver agentic voice AI solutions directly into production for customers.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals, including experience designing and shipping infrastructure, platform services, or core abstractions used by other teams.
- Proficiency in Go and/or Python.
- Ability to design for long-term maintainability and modularity.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to translate customer feedback into product and platform improvements.
- Preferred experience with customer-managed VPC or on-premises deployments, compliance regimes, observability, multi-tenancy, and security hardening.
