Responsibilities
- Lead complex technology initiatives and companywide engineering programs.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document software projects and programs.
- Review and analyze large-scale technology solutions for strategic and tactical objectives.
- Define technical strategy, architecture roadmaps, engineering standards, and companywide best practices.
- Lead projects and teams, influence stakeholders, and drive delivery across multiple teams.
- Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology teams, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues.
- Mentor engineers and foster engineering culture and talent development.
- Support platform observability, SRE practices, incident management, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Deep expertise in Golang and/or Python or .NET.
- Experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms.
- Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift, container orchestration, platform engineering, and production operations.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud architecture patterns.
- Strong expertise in system design, scalability, reliability, performance optimization, and security architecture.
- Advanced experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools, as well as developer productivity tooling.
- Understanding of software engineering excellence, testing strategies, automated quality gates, architecture reviews, and SDLC best practices.
- Experience defining technical strategy, architecture roadmaps, and engineering standards.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, influence stakeholders, and drive delivery across multiple teams.
- Strong mentoring and leadership skills with experience growing engineering talent and fostering engineering culture.
- Experience with platform observability, SRE practices, incident management, and operational excellence.
