Base Salary
$215k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish design, development, and operational standards.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, reduce technical debt, and optimize system performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and mentor members of the engineering community.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 7+ years coding in multiple listed languages, database and cloud experience, open source contribution, frontend framework experience, API development, automated testing, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, mentoring, observability, and leadership of large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling, coding standards, and design patterns is preferred.
