Responsibilities
- Advise clients and deliver engagements involving cloud architecture, cloud engineering, infrastructure-as-code, DevOps, SRE, and cloud security.
- Qualify complex or unclear client needs and challenge requirements constructively.
- Lead strategic presales activities, including response structuring, planning, staffing, estimation, proposal development, and client presentations.
- Design structured consulting approaches with objectives, deliverables, workshops, and roadmaps tailored to client maturity.
- Coordinate technical experts and build realistic delivery arrangements.
- Market OCTO’s offerings, identify opportunities, and connect practice expertise with business development teams.
- Participate in R&D, technology watch, and development of practices around platform engineering, GitOps, SRE, sovereignty, resilience, and cloud security.
- Train and mentor teams and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Solid experience in one or more of cloud architecture, DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, SRE, or security.
- Concrete experience in presales, including qualification, response structuring, estimation, and presentation or defense of proposals.
- Ability to understand, qualify, and challenge complex client needs.
- Ability to create structured consulting approaches, including stages, deliverables, and work plans.
- Understanding of consulting roles such as architect, engagement director, and expert.
- Ability to produce impactful materials and present proposals verbally to demanding audiences.
- Experience coordinating experts and designing realistic delivery structures.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, persuasion, simplification, and collaboration skills across technical, business, and commercial stakeholders.
- Autonomy in leading presales activities and ability to work across varied environments.
- French proficiency at a minimum C1 level.
