Responsibilities
- Develop and build IT solutions that meet business requirements.
- Manage, evolve, and build CI/CD pipelines and integrate solutions with external applications and platforms.
- Design, develop, and implement reusable infrastructure-as-code components and automated AWS and on-premises deployments.
- Automate deployment, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support for Linux and Windows infrastructure services.
- Automate and support cloud network services, application and infrastructure clusters, and cloud management platforms.
- Monitor and tune operating systems and applications for operational efficiency.
- Document cloud deployments through runbooks and architecture diagrams and standardize operational procedures, capacity planning, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain QA and production configurations using automation tools and create and maintain test automation frameworks.
- Automate module, upgrade, and fix deployments to production and coordinate production readiness with Release Management.
- Set up and maintain manual and automated test environments and verify component and service functionality.
- Configure cloud monitoring and backup tools and perform cloud security monitoring and management.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve service incidents, implement workarounds, and participate in incident response and on-call support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Programming, Systems, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 7–10 years of experience in analysis, programming, and supporting complex technical solutions across planning, development, implementation, and support.
- At least two years of operations support experience.
- Experience with AWS services and plugins, Docker, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch/ELK for application monitoring.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins is preferred.
- Experience with computer security areas including network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography, IAM, Active Directory, or ADFS.
- Understanding of load balancers, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS certificate management, DNS, and network routing.
- Experience with at least two or three application servers such as JBoss, IIS, or WebLogic.
- Scripting automation experience with Ruby, Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Bash.
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and XML and JSON file formats.
- Strong AWS, Windows, and/or Linux systems administration skills and knowledge of operating system, application, database, storage, and networking concepts.
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and active incident response.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification is a nice-to-have qualification.
- Willingness to provide mandatory on-call support outside normal business hours when needed.
