Base Salary
$190k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy, roadmap, metrics, and architecture for SEO/AEO systems at scale.
- Lead major initiatives involving ingestion sources, indexing and serving improvements, and content-generation workflows from design through launch.
- Improve reliability, quality, observability, alerting, dashboards, and incident-ready runbooks across pipelines and services.
- Drive controlled experimentation and measurement to evaluate rankings, traffic, conversion, and performance changes.
- Mentor engineers, review designs, establish engineering standards, and align cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Demonstrated technical leadership and end-to-end ownership of multi-quarter engineering initiatives.
- Familiarity with SEO systems at scale, including crawling, indexing, content generation, templating, structured data, internal linking, canonicalization, and internationalization.
- Ability to define success metrics, run controlled experiments, analyze results, and debug performance changes.
- Experience building reliable pipelines and services with observability, alerting, and incident-ready runbooks.
- Ability to reason across ingestion, storage, serving, and quality controls and design durable architectures.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence across Product, Data, and Design.
