Responsibilities

Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems.
Build and maintain microservices, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL endpoints using modern programming languages and frameworks.
Lead technical architecture discussions and contribute to the overall system design.
Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, business users, and other stakeholders to turn product requirements into actionable solutions.
Estimate the effort required to deliver high-impact results.
Manage databases through data modeling, query optimization, and data-integrity practices.
Ensure backend reliability and availability through monitoring, performance tuning, and incident management.
Enable the deployment of traditional AI and generative AI models at scale and monitor and improve model performance.

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 5 years of backend development experience.
Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, and their frameworks.
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other service-based architectures.
Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational database management systems and/or NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, YugabyteDB, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing frameworks such as Jenkins, Git, and Bitbucket.
Experience with monitoring tools such as the PLG or ELK stack.
Understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation, including Kubernetes and Docker.
Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and balance technical complexity with business needs.
