Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable recommendation pipelines.
- Develop and optimize CTR/CVR prediction models.
- Improve ranking strategies for retention, monetization, diversity, and long-term value.
- Address cold-start challenges for new users and content.
- Run offline experiments and online A/B tests to drive measurable improvements.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and monetization teams.
- Iterate on model performance, latency, and system reliability.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience building production-grade machine learning systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with recommendation systems.
- Experience with recall systems or candidate generation, ranking models, CTR prediction, or multi-task/multi-objective optimization.
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with large-scale data systems and distributed training is preferred.
- Experience improving retention or long-term user value is highly valued.
