Base Salary

$131k - $180k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop Onshape user interface and modeling functionality for workflows ranging from simple designs to complex assemblies.
  • Design, implement, and improve UI code and communications with backend services.
  • Tune existing systems to support larger datasets and implement backend services for new UI, workflow, and modeling functionality.
  • Consult with developers on system design and implementation and participate in regular code reviews.
  • Collaborate with product definition, user experience, and quality assurance teams to refine specifications.
  • Fix bugs across the system and proactively communicate project status and roadblocks.

Requirements

  • Expertise in TypeScript, Java, and C++.
  • Experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience working with codebases of one million lines or more.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to commute to the Seaport Boston office two to three days per week.
  • Preferred qualifications include CAD application development, Mac or Linux development, agile-environment experience, UI usability knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and proactive self-direction.
