Zuora Revenue Systems Engineer
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design, configure, and support Zuora Revenue (RevPro) for revenue recognition, contract modifications, and ASC 606 compliance.
- Manage booking, allocation, recognition, reconciliation, and other revenue lifecycle processes.
- Build and maintain integrations between upstream systems such as Salesforce and Zuora Revenue using APIs, ZOQL, and middleware tools.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and transformations using SQL and Snowflake scripting.
- Configure Zuora workflows, data queries, and automation processes.
- Troubleshoot revenue discrepancies, data issues, month-end close challenges, and reconciliation problems.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support DevOps and deployment processes to ensure smooth releases and production stability.
- Create technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and runbooks.
- Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in system development, integrations, and financial systems.
- Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting Zuora Revenue (RevPro).
- Understanding of revenue recognition principles, ASC 606, and revenue lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency with Zuora APIs, ZOQL, and integration patterns.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Snowflake scripting and data transformations.
- Experience integrating Zuora with upstream systems such as Salesforce and downstream financial systems.
- Knowledge of Zuora Workflow, Data Query, and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with developer tools such as Postman and debugging integration and data issues.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly for month-end close and reconciliations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Zuora Certified Administrator or Developer certification is preferred.
- Experience with integration or orchestration tools such as Workato is preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Apex, data platform integrations, collections tools such as Tesorio, enterprise data platforms, and reporting frameworks is preferred.
