Responsibilities
- Build and operate agent infrastructure using Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform components including Agent Engine, Agent Gateway, Agent Registry, Agent Identity, and Model Armor.
- Design and own GCP agent security architecture, including unique agent identities, least-privilege IAM, controlled tool calls, prompt-injection and data-leakage protections, and production registration.
- Implement zero-trust networking for cloud agents accessing internal systems using Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale, scoped service publishing, and approved outbound destinations.
- Own Datadog agent observability, including tracing, token and cost monitoring, latency and drift alerts, with OpenTelemetry as the standard.
- Enable pre-production agent testing and evaluation, security reviews, audit logging, and security incident containment.
- Create platform templates, standards, and guardrails and support teams shipping agents.
- Collaborate with IAM teams on identity across GCP, Okta, and Entra ID.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud platform, DevOps/SRE, or cloud security engineering with strong GCP expertise.
- Strong knowledge of GCP IAM, including service accounts, workload identity, organization policy, and VPC Service Controls.
- Hands-on Vertex AI or Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform experience, or deep experience with LLM applications and agent frameworks such as ADK, LangChain, or LangGraph.
- Experience with zero-trust networking and threat modeling using Cloudflare, Tailscale, Zscaler, or equivalent technologies on Linux.
- Production observability experience, preferably with Datadog, and working knowledge of OpenTelemetry.
- Strong Terraform and Python experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Professional Cloud Security Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect certification, LLM observability or evaluation tooling experience, MCP or agent-to-agent orchestration experience, prompt-injection defenses, policy-as-code, secrets management, identity integrations, and experience in logistics or other high-volume 24/7 operations.
