Responsibilities
- Own the Okta environment end to end, including SSO, SCIM provisioning, identity governance, and privileged access.
- Deploy and operate Okta AI agent capabilities such as Agent SSO, Cross App Access, and lifecycle governance.
- Discover and inventory non-human identities including service accounts, API keys, tokens, and unsanctioned AI agents.
- Define and enforce identity standards covering dedicated workload identities, named owners, least-privilege access, short-lived credentials, and elimination of shared logins.
- Build credential vaulting, rotation, and zero-standing-privilege patterns for machine identities.
- Own incident containment for agent identities, including a central token-revocation kill switch.
- Connect identity across Okta, Entra ID, and Google Cloud IAM in partnership with the platform team.
- Write developer-facing standards for requesting and using agent identities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of identity and access management experience with deep hands-on Okta administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID in a hybrid environment.
- Deep practical understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML.
- Experience managing service accounts, secrets, API keys, workload identity, identity governance, privileged access management, and SCIM lifecycle automation.
- Experience with Okta or comparable platforms such as SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or HashiCorp Vault.
- Ability to script against identity APIs using Python or PowerShell.
- Okta Certified Professional, Administrator, or Consultant certification is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes AI agent identity, Microsoft Entra Agent ID, SPIFFE/SPIRE, MCP or agent authorization patterns, non-human identity security tools, Google Cloud IAM, workload identity federation, Terraform, Okta Workflows, and zero-trust access tools.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or another 24/7 operations environment is preferred.
