Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural transformation and modernization of a mission-critical radiology informatics backend system.
  • Drive migration of complex on-premises systems to AWS and shape long-term cloud architecture strategy.
  • Design for reliability, scalability, high availability, performance, and platform evolution.
  • Influence cross-functional architectural decisions with backend engineering, DevOps, security, product management, and technical leadership.
  • Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical authority across the organization.
  • Apply modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of backend software engineering experience involving architecture, infrastructure, networking, or reliability.
  • Proven experience as a Software Architect driving architectural modernization.
  • Hands-on experience migrating complex on-premises systems to AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability design.
  • Experience with C++, C#, and Java in enterprise systems.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and messaging systems.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases, preferably Oracle.
  • Experience with system reliability, performance tuning, and observability.
  • Preferred qualifications include regulated or mission-critical systems experience, healthcare/PACS/imaging systems experience, AWS architecture certifications, and legacy enterprise-platform modernization experience.

  • Base monthly salary range of ILS 30,457.92–ILS 50,763.19, plus bonus eligibility tied to KPIs and company results.
