Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI applications and services using modern software engineering practices.
- Build reusable and scalable platforms and tools such as conversational bots, AI-powered search, unstructured data processing, and GenBI solutions.
- Integrate LLMs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, AI agents, and other AI tools, frameworks, and APIs into robust applications.
- Automate data ingestion, preprocessing, evaluation, model integration, and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable AI products.
- Contribute to internal tooling libraries, documentation, and knowledge sharing for AI engineering practices.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies while prioritizing practical application and delivery.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience with the ability to independently design and ship complex production systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages, including experience with microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
- Understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems, including LLM APIs, fine-tuning, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, and agents.
- Ability to balance engineering rigor, code quality, test coverage, operational excellence, and delivery speed.
- Preferred experience with LangGraph, Haystack, Hugging Face, Weaviate, or similar AI/ML ecosystems.
- Preferred hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation applications, AI agents, chatbots, search systems, generative AI interfaces, or unstructured data processing.
- Preferred background in platform engineering, internal developer tools, or embedded and forward-deployed team models.
