Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Manage technical and operational risk for a multi-asset electronic trading business.
- Develop sustainable systems and services through software development and automation to meet uptime and performance requirements.
- Improve real-time monitoring and develop metrics to track system performance.
- Manage the release and deployment lifecycle for SMM applications and infrastructure.
- Provide operational and technical assistance to external clients and internal business users.
- Triage, investigate, and resolve complex production, hardware, and networking issues.
- Lead incident and crisis management activities.
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
- Partner with software and infrastructure owners and interact with FICC front-office Trading and Sales users.
- Identify support-process efficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- 4-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C, C++, Java, or shell scripting.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design.
- Experience with Linux operating system internals and/or networking concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess issue scope and impact under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Preferred: experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Preferred: hands-on experience debugging and optimizing code and developing automation.
- Preferred: knowledge of financial markets and the FIX protocol.
