Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve link-generation, sales-attribution, commission, and payment flows for the Affiliates Program across Latin America.
- Design high-impact solutions with Product and UX to improve affiliate and buyer experience, adoption, discovery, and engagement.
- Optimize backend services and business workflows for performance, flexibility, and scalability.
- Ensure product operations, quality, and technical evolution through development best practices, testing, monitoring, and observability.
- Lead implementation of initiatives across different Mercado Libre teams and areas.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and participate in roadmap definition and sprint planning.
Requirements
- Experience in backend development with Java, Go, or Python.
- Knowledge of Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of microservice architectures, scalability, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and unit and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience using artificial intelligence to assist with coding.
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions and contributing to roadmaps and sprint planning.
