Responsibilities
- Analyze, triage, and resolve production issues, including issues affecting live events.
- Partner with client support and go-to-market teams to resolve support tickets and meet established service-level agreements.
- Monitor production systems and respond to alerts and performance degradation.
- Support architecture changes and system integrations affecting the platform.
- Maintain and update event logic as dependencies and underlying systems evolve.
- Support and onboard additional team members as the team grows.
- Take work through code merging and deployment with limited supervision.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Java and Spring Boot experience as the primary backend skill set.
- React experience for frontend development and troubleshooting.
- Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, and SQL or MongoDB.
- Experience with software build and deployment processes.
- Senior-level ability to ramp up quickly, take ownership across multiple projects, and work autonomously.
- Experience with at least one of Dagster, Data Lakes, or Amazon Athena.
- Enterprise experience is strongly preferred.
- Python and Django backend experience is preferred but not required.
- Product-management experience collaborating with go-to-market teams and engineers on prioritization is preferred.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Windsurf is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting, prioritization, strategic-thinking, communication, initiative, and ambiguity-management skills.
