Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the technical direction of the consumer platform.
- Make high-leverage architectural decisions across a modern TypeScript ecosystem.
- Serve as the technical 'north star' for the pod through design and code reviews.
- Stay hands-on in the codebase, contributing to complex features and debugging.
- Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to shape roadmaps.
- Raise the bar for engineering quality across various metrics.
- Mentor engineers by modeling strong engineering judgment.
- Define and operationalize AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Participate in hiring and interviewing to maintain a high technical bar.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to influence shared systems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with expertise in full-stack web development.
- Proven track record of influencing architecture for consumer-facing web products.
- Strong mastery of TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Next.js.
- Experience with GraphQL, Apollo, and AWS, including relational and NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a technical leader.
- Exceptional engineering judgment in ambiguous situations.
- Strong hands-on coding ability.
- Experience scaling systems with performance and reliability constraints.
- Excellent communication skills to influence across teams.
- Deep fluency with AI-assisted development workflows.
