Responsibilities
- Own the BLE Stack by architecting, implementing, and maintaining the Bluetooth connectivity layer.
- Optimize radio-on time and connection parameters for always-on devices.
- Ensure interoperability across various iOS and Android devices and environments.
- Design and manage the secure OTA DFU pipeline for firmware updates.
- Collaborate with hardware teams on board bring-up and regulatory certification.
- Communicate effectively in a hybrid work environment with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of embedded software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in production BLE firmware.
- Strong knowledge of the Bluetooth stack including GAP, GATT, and BLE security.
- Hands-on experience with vendor BLE stacks and SDKs like Nordic SoftDevice or TI.
- Fluency in C/C++ and proficiency in Python or NodeJS for tooling.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve ultra-low-power targets in device design.
- Experience launching and maintaining large fleets of wireless devices.
