Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents and LLM-based solutions from concept through production.
- Develop reusable AI components, templates, connectors, MCP servers, and evaluation frameworks.
- Migrate locally developed agents to Microsoft Azure.
- Define standards for hosting, deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and management of AI agents.
- Establish security, monitoring, logging, tracing, quality evaluation, cost-management, risk-classification, and data-access controls.
- Define processes for transitioning AI agents from business teams to IT ownership, including intake, maturity levels, acceptance criteria, and responsibilities.
- Support technically capable business users with AI-agent development, tooling, and best practices.
- Lead adoption of end-user AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Group IT architects, and infrastructure teams to create production-ready AI solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on coding skills in Python and/or C#.
- Proven experience building and deploying production-grade LLM-based agents or applications, including tool use or function calling, RAG, MCP, agent frameworks or SDKs, and evaluation.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, including deployment, identity management with Entra ID, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and/or Azure OpenAI.
- Strong understanding of AI security principles, including data-access management, permissions, prompt injection, and data-leakage prevention.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills with a structured, collaborative, and pragmatic approach.
- Fluent English.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Claude is advantageous.
- Experience or knowledge in energy trading, commodities, banking, financial services, trading regulations, AI governance frameworks, mentoring, or technical leadership is advantageous.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline is preferred.
