Base Salary
$137k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve perception components for the autonomy system.
- Analyze perception system performance and help identify and address improvement opportunities.
- Explore synthetic data, data-mining techniques, and new model architectures for long-tail challenges.
- Optimize and deploy models to vehicle hardware while meeting functional requirements and interface specifications.
- Collaborate with systems, safety, test, and data engineering teams on requirements, test coverage, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Understanding of deep learning fundamentals and computer vision techniques.
- Experience building, training, or evaluating neural networks.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch or similar libraries.
- Exposure to version control, code reviews, testing, and collaborative software development.
- Clear communication skills and willingness to collaborate and learn.
