Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, and improvement of perception components for the autonomy system.
- Analyze perception system performance to identify and address areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with teammates to explore creative solutions to complex challenges.
- Optimize and deploy models to ensure they meet functional requirements and hardware constraints.
- Interface with systems and safety engineers to ensure appropriate requirements and performance metrics.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Solid understanding of deep learning concepts and computer vision techniques.
- Experience building, training, or evaluating neural networks.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like PyTorch.
- Exposure to software engineering fundamentals such as version control and collaborative development.
