Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments for machine learning models.
- Develop and improve metrics for evaluating behavioral models across scenarios and robotaxi capabilities.
- Release major model updates and analyze offline and on-road evaluation data.
- Propose neural network architectures and designs based on published research.
- Maintain training, dataset-generation, and evaluation code.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy scene understanding, behavior prediction, and planning models.
- Collaborate with and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms.
- Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks for motion planning, object detection, sensor fusion, motion prediction, or multi-object tracking.
- Strong ability to solve ambiguous problems and execute efficiently.
- Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles, including software design, source control, build processes, code reviews, and testing methods.
- Experience with PyTorch or other Python-based deep learning frameworks.
- Experience working with large datasets and deriving insights from data.
- Master’s or PhD in machine learning, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
