Base Salary
$146k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments for machine-learning models.
- Develop and improve metrics for evaluating behavioral models across scenarios and robotaxi capabilities.
- Release major model updates and analyze offline and on-road evaluation data.
- Propose new neural-network architectures and designs based on published research.
- Maintain training and evaluation code, including dataset-generation and evaluation components.
- Train, evaluate, and deploy models for scene understanding, behavior prediction, and planning.
Requirements
- In-depth understanding of common machine-learning and deep-learning algorithms.
- Experience designing, training, and analyzing neural networks for motion planning, object detection, sensor fusion, motion prediction, or multi-object tracking.
- Ability to tackle ambiguous problems and efficiently deliver outcomes.
- Advanced software engineering knowledge, including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, and testing methods.
- Experience with PyTorch or another Python-based deep-learning framework.
- Experience working with large datasets and deriving insights from data.
- Experience mentoring and collaborating with others.
- Master’s or PhD in machine learning, computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, physics, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
