Responsibilities
- Design and implement backend systems, APIs, and services for AI agent workflows.
- Own features end-to-end, focusing on reliability, security, and developer experience.
- Build integrations for agents to securely manage access credentials.
- Contribute to system design decisions and communicate technical tradeoffs.
- Define patterns for unsolved industry problems like agent identity and delegated access.
- Monitor production systems for operational health and fast incident response.
- Collaborate with product, security, and platform partners to shape development.
- Provide code reviews and mentor teammates to enhance engineering standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in designing and shipping production-grade backend systems.
- Strong foundation in backend languages such as Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or Python.
- Experience in fast-moving environments with evolving problem definitions.
- A security-conscious mindset regarding credential handling and trust establishment.
- Strong system design skills with the ability to scope features and identify tradeoffs.
- Collaborative instincts and effective communication across functions.
- Comfort in a product engineering context, focusing on real customer needs.
