Responsibilities
- Develop tools and capabilities extending Lattice OS for cyber asset command and control, offensive cyber missions, networking, and remote asset management.
- Collaborate with customers, product designers, and engineering teams to shape and build software products and applications.
- Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission-critical code with end users.
- Travel up to 25% to participate in customer events and deploy capabilities in real-world scenarios.
- Develop reusable software components across Anduril product lines.
- Provide technical direction and make pragmatic engineering tradeoffs.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- At least 7 years of experience working with a variety of programming languages.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly.
- Experience making impactful architectural decisions, evaluating tradeoffs, and participating in engineering discussions.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance that can be maintained.
- Preferred experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
- Preferred feature and algorithm development experience with behavior trees.
- Preferred knowledge of distributed communication networks and message standards.
- Preferred knowledge of military systems and operational tactics.
- Preferred experience mentoring junior engineers and architecting complex systems.
