Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, systems analysis, and applications development.
- Establish and implement new or revised application systems and programs to meet business or user-area needs.
- Monitor development phases including analysis, design, construction, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Analyze complex application and business-process issues and make evaluative judgments using specialty knowledge.
- Recommend and develop security measures based on post-implementation analysis of business usage.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups and recommend advanced programming solutions.
- Provide user and operational support, help define operating standards and procedures, and assess technology risks.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, advisor, and coach to junior or lower-level analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in systems analysis and software applications programming.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects.
- Working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques and methods.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in requirements.
