Responsibilities
- Develop, test, implement, and optimize secure, scalable Java microservices for enterprise applications.
- Design and support cloud-native deployments, container orchestration, environment upgrades, and system migrations.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, and DevOps teams on features, enhancements, deployment, and operational workflows.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production and infrastructure issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
- Drive build, deployment, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational resilience initiatives.
- Implement encryption, access controls, audit logging, and compliance-monitoring practices.
- Maintain architecture, API, deployment, system configuration, and operational documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on enterprise Java backend development involving microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems, APIs, cloud integrations, and containerized architectures.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including at least 2 years supporting containerized deployment and orchestration.
- Experience with Agile teams, DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, production troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Preferred experience in financial services, healthcare, or regulated environments.
- Cloud-platform certifications or Java-framework certifications are preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, leadership, documentation, stakeholder-management, and problem-solving skills.
