Responsibilities
- Automate deployments and operational processes for mission-critical applications.
- Build, maintain, and manage CI/CD pipelines and the systems developed by the team.
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, including failures affecting high-availability services.
- Support container management, integrations, application protocols, and database connectivity.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, scrum masters, product owners, and other technology teams.
- Identify improvements and maintain an end-user-focused approach to solutions.
- Participate in knowledge sharing and ongoing technology development.
Requirements
- Experience with complex, high-end solutions and mission-critical applications targeting 99.9% uptime.
- Very good experience with Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Ansible, Helm, Maven or Gradle, and SonarQube or similar tools.
- Strong Linux knowledge and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Jira and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban workflows; Confluence knowledge is preferred.
- Shell scripting and experience with Python, Perl, or Groovy.
- Strong container management experience with OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with API management, DBMS/SQL, and Oracle; DBA experience is not required.
- Knowledge of TLS/SSL, HTTP(S), DNS, and other application-layer protocols.
- Extensive application- and infrastructure-level troubleshooting experience.
- Google Cloud Platform knowledge is highly appreciated, along with a willingness to learn.
