Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain end-to-end DataCenter Fabric build automation.
- Build secure, scalable, resilient microservice-based applications and APIs that integrate with upstream and downstream systems.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Deliver production-quality features using code review, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational-readiness practices.
- Own bug fixes and enhancements based on internal stakeholder feedback.
- Use and evaluate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to identify patterns and improve coding hygiene, software applications, and system architecture.
- Promote responsible, secure, and effective use of AI-assisted engineering practices and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Strong Python proficiency with hands-on Django and/or Flask development experience.
- Experience building microservice-based applications and designing and developing APIs.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database query languages.
- Experience deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies, cloud technologies, Kubernetes, Docker, networking fundamentals, or basic CCNA certification.
