Responsibilities
- Collaborate on software for 3D reconstruction from images and lidar, scene understanding, and visualization.
- Develop scalable, high-performance software for large-scale geospatial and global monitoring applications.
- Build processing capabilities for images, point clouds, textured meshes, and Gaussian Splats using high-performance computing and GPU acceleration.
- Advance algorithms in computer vision, photogrammetry, machine learning, and computer graphics.
- Help shape product vision and technical direction and mentor team members.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience writing production code.
- Expert-level modern C++ skills, including performance optimization.
- Experience designing and delivering complex software components in production environments.
- Ability to research, design, implement, test, debug, and work efficiently in large shared codebases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geomatics Engineering, or a related field.
- Fluent English; German is a plus.
- Existing authorization to work in Germany.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, affinity for 3D data, and a relevant master’s degree are preferred.
